The St. Louis Cardinals pulled out a 6-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tyler O'Neill had a two-run homer in the second inning which gave the Cardinals the lead. The Pirates nearly overcame a four-run deficit, scoring three runs in the fourth inning.
